Yes, I realize that it does not work in real-time, but I'm not getting anyommunation between the 2X and NordGen when I try to dump the sysex. However, I think I've figured out why and it may be a bug with NordGen.
The MIDI input keepshanging its assignment when I assign the output. Here's what's going on:My Nord 2X isonnted to the 3rd MIDI inout of my M-Audio MIDISPORT 8x8. I selt the 3rd input in NordGen, then I
selt the 3rd output, and NordGen reassigns the input to the 5th input on my MIDI interfe. Essentially, whenever Ihange the output port, NordGenhanges the existing input port by the same amount, so Ian never set the same input and output ports. But, even if I just assign the input port to reive the sysex dump, there does not appear to be anyommunation. Weird.Any suggestions?
Yes, I remember the bug!Sorry, I forgot about it, bause I use the first Midi port in line, just bause my other programs don't have the bug and they don't mind another port... I hope youan do the same thing Wout

Hi all... just wondered if anyone else has run into this.I rently bought an M-Audio MidiSport 4x4 to add some more midi portsto my setup. If I run my A6 into it, rording midi data inubase Studio 4,ubase will lk up if I send too mh midi data (ribbon and pih wheel simultaneously willause it almost every time).I have the Midi Thinning set to 2. Iould try going to 1 or "Thin", but I like the resolution that 2 gives me. Going to "1" is a just-peeptible graininess, and I haven't tried "Thin". I plugged the A6 into my Presonus Firebox's midi port, and it works just fine on Midi Thinning 2, so I believe I
will simply leave it at that, and use the MidiSport for my less-midi-data-intensive synths for now. Just wondered if anyone else has run into that, and if there is a better 4 or 5 port midi interfe thatan handle high midi data
